Really nice app, good work!
I´ve checked out the code and I wonder if there is any easy way to make it support reverse lookup queries i.e. return a contact (or a list of contacts) when you search for a number?
Thanks again for a great app!
Thanks for great app corporate address book. i have about 5000 contacts which i dont want to sync to android phone which might slow it down. i used to store them in gmail and access through my win mobile phone thru company directory feature. is it possible connect to gmail contacts through your corporate addressbook and just look up the contacts and not sync them. has android included this feature yet?
Yes you can use this app to lookup (but not sync) GMail contacts. Here are the settings you should use
Domain\username field – \
The domain name is blank, followed by a \ followed by your firstname.lastname@example.org email address
Server – m.google.com
Use SSL – Checked
Accept all SSL certificates (unchecked)
Hope this helps.
Quick question,is there a way to view the “Pager” field?
Learnt a lot through your contacts app. I am facing an issue to get the list of rooms in my organisation. I have checked the examples using EWS but I am not able to understand using ActiveSync. Any tutorial or pointer would be really helpful.
First off all a really great app you guys have developed.
I have a question, is there a way, where it will be possible to activate this function.
FX. if a colleague is calling, and you don’t have stored his information on your phone.
Will it be possible, that the Corporate Addressbook app could do a lookup, off the caller and display the information on your phone before answering the call?
Another way could be, that a list is stored locally on a micro sd card, and the app could do a lookup from there, would also be nice.
Looking forward to hear from you guys.
